I am John Hartley - the owner and founder of Hartley's Harvest! Proudly serving you mushrooms grown locally.
You can purchase these mushrooms all year by QUARTER | HALF | FULL POUND.
Mild earthy flavor, a very versatile mushroom.
Similar in flavor to Pearl Oyster but differ in their blue color and are slightly smaller.
Having firm caps and tender stems, they make the perfect companion to pan or deep frying as they hold their composition well.
Mild, sweet flavor that people often say is similar to lobster or crab meat.
Rich, nutty, mildly sweet and earthy flavor and a meaty heaviness.
A delicate, nutty flavor and a firm, meaty texture. When cooked, the king trumpet's texture mimics seafood, like scallops. In fact, when its thick stem is sliced crosswise, the result can appear just like scallops!
These mushrooms are only available during certain seasons. You can purchase these mushrooms by QUARTER | HALF | FULL POUND.
Highly versatile in culinary applications, adding a rich, earthy, and meaty flavor. Strong savory aroma while cooking.

These mushrooms are all 1/2 pound quantities before their water content is removed in the dehydration process. Don't worry, rehydrating will bring them back to 1/2 pound!
1/2 lb fresh --> 1 ounce/28 grams dried
1/2 lb fresh --> 1 ounce/28 grams dried
1/2 lb fresh --> 1 ounce/28 grams dried
1/2 lb fresh --> 0.75 ounce/21 grams dried
(these have a higher water content so more of that weight was removed)
1/2 lb fresh --> 1 ounce/28 grams dried
To rehydrate your dehydrated mushrooms, simply soak them in water for 20-30 minutes, or until they are soft and pliable! While soaking them in hot water is faster to rehydrate your mushrooms, using cold or room temperature water to soak them allows for a more intense flavor development. Substitute regular water for the soaking water in recipes for additional flavor, too!
